Transitional 3s class: Young 3s/Older 2s (Turns 3 by Feb 1, 2026)
Student/Teacher Ratio 10:2
Class Options:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Monday-Friday
We are excited to offer this new class this year! Our transitional 3s class is specifically for those older 2s and younger 3s as they transition to school. This is the perfect class for children who may need more time before being fully potty trained and for those older 2s who could use a more challenging class. Early literacy skills, fine motor skills, shapes, counting, colors are taught in accordance with developmentally appropriate practices. Growing and encouraging independent skills is a highlight of this class, as we work to either prepare children for moving into the 4s/PreK class or the 3s class, depending on their birthdates. It is expected that some children in this class will still need to attend the traditional 3s class the following school year depending on their birthdate, i.e. children who turn 3 after September 1, 2025. If you are interested in this class option for your child, please contact the Director at preschool@pleasanthillpc.org.

We offer a wide variety of experiences directed toward the needs of a curious 3-year-old. Social skills, language development, listening skills, sensory, perceptual, fine and gross motor skills are some major goals of this program. Our curriculum is theme based and will allow children to explore and learn at their own pace. Children will be provided with activities that reinforce shapes, colors, letters, and numbers. Circle time, centers, outdoor play, Story Time, Chapel Time, and Music and Movement will be part of their schedule.
4s/PreK Classes (Must be 4 years old before Sept 1):
Student/Teacher Ratio 14:2
Class Options:
Monday-Thursday; Monday-Friday
Our Pre-K program is designed to meet Georgia standards as we prepare children for kindergarten. We give children the opportunity to think for themselves and gain even greater self-esteem. Daily classes are full of different and changing activities to allow the children to grow as independent thinkers. Center time is limited to a small number so children can easily learn how to work together with others and problem solve together. Our curriculum is theme based, play-based, and full of fun activities which include: the use of imaginative play, cooking activities, science experiments, music, language development, and a love for reading and creating their own stories. Our enrichment programs include Story Time, Chapel Time, and Music and Movement.
